I blogged about piggy picture books at the ALSC blog in honor of Pig Day (March 1).
I'm just now emerging from a wicked reading slump. I must have started and put down 3-4 books before I started on my recent reads: the recent Newbery Medal winner Dead End in Norvelt (I started this when it first came out, but didn't finish it before I had to return it; wouldn't have been my pick for the Newbery, but there you go) and A Good American, which is an adult historical fiction epic. I enjoyed Dead End in Norvelt the first go around, and I think I'll stick with A Good American. Happy reading to all-cheers!
