Taking the Challenge

While browsing through the members of The Newbery Project, I found a blog after my own heart. Bonnie Jacobs runs Taking the Challenge, which is a chronicle of her reading challenges. In honor of Banned Books Week (Sept 29-Oct 7), she created a reading challenge based on books that have been banned (for various reasons). Previous reading challenges have included a Four Legged Friends reading challenge (in which an animal must be a main character or play an important role in the story), a Pulitzer Prize reading challenge, Books Around the World, and Books Around the States (I've had those last two themes on my blog!). Bonnie includes links to challenges hosted at other blogs (click on the icon).
